Edward J. Skok established Skok Industries
at his Solon, Ohio, residence in 1973. The primary function was the fabricating and installation of self-edge laminate countertops
to the building and remodeling trades. Skok Industries
introduced their customers to bevel edge laminate and Corian countertops in the late 70s. Ed has always believed that if you give your customers a quality product and installation that business would repeat itself, and so it has for the past 45 years.
Edward moved his fabrication facility to its present location in 1980. He continued to grow the business with the same belief of manufacturing a quality product. Ed Skok, Jr. and his brother Richard developed the skills in the countertop trade from their father. Ed Jr. and Richard supervise manufacturing and installation to make sure their customers receive the quality product they have developed over the years as a family manufacturing operation.
Kathy Kaplan, Edward's daughter, is the accounts manager. Kathy assists Skok Industries' clients with their material and color selections.
The third generation is carrying on the family tradition of countertop fabricating. Eddie and Brian Skok are the grandsons of Edward J. Skok. Eddie supervises the installation and workmanship of our installation crew. Brian Skok is perfecting the art of cutting and polishing our granite and quartz countertops. Both Eddie and Brian will carry on the family business well into the future.
